An Ode to Distant Love
Mihar Diaries
In the silent hours of this lonely night,
I sit here, with my heart taking flight,
With the memory of you, a distant star,
Shining bright in love, both near and far.
You’re out there, my love, in a world unknown,
While I’m here, in solitude, all alone,
The miles between us, like an endless sea,
But our love, like an anchor, holds onto me.
Your laughter, your touch, they haunt my soul,
In the quiet darkness, I’m losing control,
Your words, like whispers in the depths of my mind,
A sweet, agonizing ache, one of a kind.
You see, life’s twists and turns, they leave their scars,
But I’ve got this distance, like an ocean of stars,
It pulls me to you, through the long, endless night,
A lover’s cosmic dance, bathed in starlight.
I raise my hopes, a prayer to the moon above,
To you, my distant love, my eternal dove,
Though you’re far away, you’re always in my heart,
In this poem, our love will never be torn apart.
