An Ode To Hope: From Defeat to Victory
In shadows deep where hope once danced,
Defeat now grips with icy hands,
A soul that once burned bright and free,
Now shrouded in despair’s decree.
The skies once painted shades of gold,
Now draped in clouds, a story told,
Of battles fought with hearts held high,
But now, the light begins to die.
Dreams that soared like eagles’ flight,
Now fade in darkness, out of sight,
As whispers of doubt fill the air,
And hope’s sweet melody turns to despair.
Yet deep within the heart’s own core,
A tiny ember burns, no more,
A glimmer of the hope that’s real,
A force that time cannot conceal.
For in the darkest of despair,
A strength awakens, fierce and rare,
A will to rise, to fight, to strive,
And keep the flame of hope alive.
With every step and every breath,
Defeat transforms, it holds no death,
For in the face of trials untold,
A warrior’s spirit takes ahold.
And as the stars begin to weep,
The heart from slumber gently peeps,
The dawn of change, the birth of might,
A champion’s rise to claim the light.
The world once veiled in hues of gray,
Now starts to paint a different day,
With colors bold, and dreams anew,
Hope triumphs, strong and ever true.
So let despair not have the final say,
For hope’s resilient, come what may,
From valleys low to mountains high,
It shines eternal in the sky.
