Kiss Me My Beloved — Peel My Heart Down To The Core
The following poem is a dedication to my favourite “Forty Rules of Love” by Elif Shafak
Kiss me, my beloved, with passion in your eyes,
Peel my heart down to the core, where our love never dies.
Your lips as sweet as cherry wine, intoxicating and divine,
Pour me some more, let our souls entwine.
In your embrace, I find a universe of bliss,
Each tender kiss a melody, a lingering, gentle kiss.
With every touch, our hearts beat as one,
Underneath the moon and stars, where our journey’s begun.
The night is our canvas, painted with desire,
Our love’s a burning flame, a passionate fire.
As we dance in the shadows, hand in hand,
We create a love story that will forever stand.
With each whispered word, our souls take flight,
Lost in the magic of this enchanted night.
Kiss me, my beloved, let our love overflow,
In your arms, my heart finds its home, its glow.
So peel my heart down to the core, my dear,
With you, there’s nothing left to fear.
Your love’s as sweet as cherry wine, so divine,
Pour me some more, forever, you are mine.
