Day 1

Dedicated to all the lost souls like me

Hey you stranger,

lets walk together

Tonight, as I strolled along the harbour, the moon began its slow ascent into the night sky. Its gentle light cast a silver sheen on the water, causing the ocean to shimmer and rise with the tide. The scene was serene, yet brimming with life and beauty.

The boats, anchored nearby, swayed softly with the rhythm of the waves. Some were closer, their outlines clear and sharp, while others were distant, mere silhouettes against the horizon. Each boat, like a soul, seemed to be on its own journey, some just beginning, others far along their course.

The soft wind carried the laughter of children playing football on the shore. Their carefree joy was infectious, a reminder of the simple pleasures in life. Birds swooped down, their wings skimming the water’s surface, searching for their next meal, driven by instinct and the desire to survive.

As I took in these sights, a profound thought surfaced in my mind: “Who am I?” It was a question that seemed to echo in the waves, the wind, and the laughter around me. In that moment, I realized that this question was not mine alone. The ocean, the boats, the children, the birds — all were part of the same quest for meaning and connection.

In this symphony of life, where everything is interconnected, I found myself drawn to a deeper understanding of love. True self-realization, I mused, comes from embracing and giving love unconditionally. It is in the act of loving that we find our true selves and our place in the world.

Rumi’s words resonated deeply within me:

“In the house of lovers, the music never stops, the walls are made up of songs and the floor dances.”

This harbour, this night, this life — it was all part of that house of lovers. Every moment, every experience was a note in the eternal song of love and existence.

As I continued my walk, I felt a sense of peace and belonging. The moon, now high in the sky, seemed to smile down as if acknowledging my newfound understanding. I realized that the journey of self-discovery and love is never-ending, but it is the journey itself that enriches our souls and fills our hearts with music and dance. you are walking me, right? you lovely stranger.
